Best cards for triple monitors? $100-$150 range

Can someone recommend a good card in the $100-$150 range which supports triple monitors easily. It seems many of the recent ATI cards can do this but you need an "active display port adapter" to run three monitors (unless you have a DP monitor) - have I understood this correctly? I'd rather not have to deal with DP at all. Can any Nvidia cards in this price range do 3 monitors? Any recommendations?

If your monitors are vga/dvi only, - All single card setups that support 3 monitors require an active displayport adapter that I know of. Unless one monitor is displayport or hdmi. The adapter costs around $20. If you want nvidia, the 650 gtx is the cheapest card that supports 3+ monitors.
