Hello,
I'm building my first gaming pc to run modern games. I play a lot so just games in general. I am NOT planning on overclocking so please keep that in mind. I also do not need an operating system, disc drive, or monitor.

Things I need help finding for remainder of my budget. About 706 Dollars.

1)A small fast SSD for my OS and a few games.
2)A reg HDD. 500G-1T
3)A motherboard (completely lost here no clue)
4)A Video Card (so many choices, any input would help).
5)Power supply (quiet, cheap, and powerful enough to run everything properly)

Here are the components I have decided on.

Intel Core i5 3570k- 214$

Corsair Vengance 8gb- 40$
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682...

Cooler Master HAF 912 case- 40$

Thanks so much for your help. I've been researching for quite a while and these components are difficult for me to pin down. Feel free to ask me questions if I left anything out.

If you are not overlclocking, dont get 3570k, just get 3570. that will save you some money.

That will leave you $720ish?

Spend 350 on gpu
80 on HDD
80 on PSU
100 on SSD
remainder on Mobo (z68 type as you wont be overclocking)

I am going to try find you some parts. Will post back

I see, looked up and the 3570K is same price as 3570.. Stay with the 3570K then.

The above things i listed were $800 total. If you cannot afford the extra $100, downgrade the ssd and motherboard. Have fun with new build

I believe the H61 is the cheapest 1155 socket. Im not too sure whether you should drop the ssd in favour of a better motherboard...
