I have a hard drive that was part of a RAID 0 Array. I want to use it as a single disk configuration. How do i make it so it won't recognize it as a stripe disk? I no longer have the other disk that went with the array (RMAed) so i can't put the array back togeather. Do I do a low-level format? If yes, then how would I do that, fdisk?

Any help on the subject is greatly appreciated.

Depending on the drive the mfg might have a utility for the Low Level Format. Other then that all you should have to do is delete the partition, recreate the partition, and re-format the drive.

This might be a problem...I had a similar thing, but I couldn't even fdisk unless I put the two drives together again and deleted the RAID. There's got to be a way around it, though.
I didn't try a low-level format.
