I am buying a PC from a site that basically lets you pick every single part, but they assemble it for you. It ended up being $2900 because I wanted 2 GTX 680s and an SSD boot drive. If I were to drop to 2 GTX 660s the price would be around $2400-2500. Is the extra $400 worth the GTX 680s or not? Here is the exact specs of the PC:
1 x Intel Core i7 3770K Quad Core Hyperthreading Processor
Overclocked to 4GHZ

1 x Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80 High Performance CPU
Cooler System LGA775 1366 1156 1155 AM2 AM3

1 x Gigabyte Z77X-UP4-TH Thunderbolt ATX LGA 1155 3PCI-E16

2 x Corsair CMV16GX3M2A1333C9 DDR3-1333MHZ 16GB 2X8 240 DIMM

Supply Active PFC 120mm Fan 5 *IR-$26.95*

1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64BIT DVD SP1 OEM

1 x Crucial M4 Micron C400 SSD 256GB 2.5in Solid State Disk
Flash Drive SATA3 6Gbps

1 x Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green SATA3 Intelli Power
64MB Cache 3.5in Internal Hard Disk Drive HDD

1 x LG GH24NS90 24X SATA Internal DVD Writer Burner DVDRW
M-DISC Compatible Optical Drive Black OEM

1 x LG CH12LS28 12X Blu-Ray Reader & Lightscribe DVD Writer

1 x ASUS Xonar DS 7.1 Channel PCI Sound Card 24BIT DTS SPDIF

1 x Please Use The Onboard Network Ethernet Card Integrated

The *IR-$x* is the instant rebate the site gives. Thanks for the input!

Actually, I doubt its a scam. Its NCIX. On that handy website My exact build is priced at $2670, with no assembly (I don't think), no warranty, and that's without tax (~$100-200). And after assembling the computer, they do a burn in period that shows any problems. Fair price IMHO

Edit: Not sure on tax actually. And the price is with the mail-in rebate

well there are many ways to lower the price within ncix. they have at least 3 urls for the same item

and if you use their pc builder, its another way to get yourself ripped off. all you need to do is dump everything into your shopping cart, price match like crazy, and then select the 75 dollar assembly or the 50 if you dont require the neatest job ever

Thanks for the price matching links! So now it is only $2100, with no assembly, and it is still a beast. Thanks for the help!
