I would like to buy a GTX 670 off of Newegg, however I am not sure what brand to go with. I have always gone with EVGA, but I notice that some brands have 2 fans ( gigabyte zotac) I this worth it? I would like to keep my spending budget under 450$.

The EVGA cards tend to run a lot warmer than the graphics card partners that use their own custom designed coolers.

E.G.
EVGA GeForce GTX 670 Superclocked 2 GB GDDR5
Gaming: 79°C
FurMark: 80°C
VRM: 104.3°C

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC WindForce 3X 2 GB GDDR5
Gaming: 66°C
FurMark: 68°C
VRM: 82.3°C

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 670 AMP! Edition 2 GB GDDR5
Gaming: 70°C

I love evga as well I just don't like how they only use reference cards. The Gigabyte card has 3 fans versus the other non reference cards of 2. I feel that if you are going to spend that kind of money on a card you should get one with a non reference design which means better cooling a more efficient card.
One other thing that's unique about the gigabyte one is they use the circuitry of a 680 pretty cool and its the same price as the reference. The gigabyte card also has a 3 year warranty.
I have had excellent support through EVGA though so its really up to you what brand you go with.

Tomshardware goes into great detail about 7 cards out there for the 670 series and recommends the gigabyte card highly.
