That's an essential components budget:

Motherboard: Asus P9X79 Intel X79 ATX $235

Power Supply: CORSAIR Builder Series CX750W 80Plus Bronze $82

CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 Box QuadCore/8T Sandy Bride-E (3.6 GHz) $259

RAM: G.Skill F3-17000CL9Q2-32GBZH 8x4GB Performance RipjawsZ (2133 quad channel) $261

GPU: Asus GTX660-DC2-2GD5 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 $234

HDD: Western Digital VelociRaptor 1TB WD1000DHTZ (10,000 RPM) $205

TOTAL: $1276
Gaming focused build.

Let me know your opinion and if anything is wrong or you have a better component, just post it :)
I'm also looking for less price components if there are.

Oh dear, you say this is a gaming focus build but what other purposes since, depending upon the games you're looking to run through it, it's beyond overkill with no real gaming benefits over a much less expensive build on socket 1155.
FAaarrr too much ram for any gaming done these days
