Looking to upgrade DEll Inspiron 546s Slim desktop and i plan on getting a new graphics card and power supply. Here is the power supply, going from 250 to 400.

Now i just dont know what video card to get. I want to be able to play WoW on at least med. settings with 60 fps. The better the FPS, the better for me, dont care about low settings.

Iv narrowed it down to

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card

SAPPHIRE 100357LP Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card

Which would be better??

  1. The HD7750 is the slightly better of the 2. It would probably work with your current PSU to be perfectly honest. Neither the HD6670 nor the HD7750 are all that demanding in terms of power and Dell bundles pretty solid PSUs in their systems.

I use a HD6670 in a Shuttle XPC system with a 180w PSU just fine.

Just don't plan on overclocking the GPU and you'll be fine.
  2. 7750 will be faster. Although WOW has issues with playing at 60fps even on maxed out systems, due to the way the game works, it's not just the video card, CPU and internet connection and server load and amount of players in the area all have an effect.

You should be able to have a steady 40fps at medium though in any area.

Yes, as stated in the other threads as well.
