Basically, I'd like to know if this pc I'm thinking of building will be able to run Far Cry 3 fully maxed Graphics without lag (around 60 fps). I haven't build this computer yet, but the parts are probably the ones that I'll buy. Please don't make any big recommendations about changing some parts, because I took some time choosing them for my budget.

Graphics Card: HD 6870
CPU: AMD FX-8350
Memory: (2x8) 16GB Corsair

I guess the other parts ain't really important.

p.s. Please excuse my bad English.

The answer is no.

it really depends what resolution is you monitor is . if its a 1600 x 900 still wont get a 60 fps at max settings.

ut decent fps with one or two settings downed.

but for a 1920 x 1080 monitor its is not possible.

may be you should take a look at 7870 and above for 1080p and 60 fps.

also if you are planing to get a new pc then an intel build will be lot more sensible.

for gaming the i5 will give significant increase in fps than an amd fx cpu.

so for a farcry 3 to run at max setings ( 1080p and all settings max ) you would need an i5 2nd or 3 rd gen and a gpu with amd hd 7870 or nvidia gtx 660ti or more gpu.

I'm actually running an i5 3570K and a 7870 here and I still can't max the game at 60 FPS at 1920x1080, usually it's in the high 30s to mid 40s. It is a pretty demanding game.
