1st time gaming build help?

Approximate Purchase Date: Within 2 weeks, before 2013 at the latest
Budget Range: $1000 or less
System Usage: Gaming mostly
Are you buying a monitor: Not yet
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website for Parts: newegg.com
Location: California
Overclocking: Maybe
Additional Comments: This will be my first time building a PC so any advice is welcome. I don't have a lot of room for the tower so 20" x 8" x 18.5" is probably the biggest I could fit. I'm hoping to play Skyrim, Witcher 2, and Planetside 2 if i can. Not necessarily on max settings, just at a decent framerate.

This is what I've come up with so far. Any suggestions?
