Can I Run DayZ?

I am planing on buying my first Gaming PC mainly to run DayZ and i was wondering if this set-up can run it?

GPU - SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

I just want to be able to run it at about medium settings with minimal lag!! Please help

Lag will depend on your internet connection more than anything.

In a synthetic benchmark you do. Speedtest will tell you your ideal condition speeds, and it only applies to a tiny packet of data moving between your PC and a particular server that is selected based on your ping. In reality you have a much slower connection than that, and chances are the server your connecting too will be slower than that.
Just make sure to connect to servers with a low ping I guess.

Anyway, on your end, your all set. The components are fine to use.

Actually, Speedtest uses a randomly generated and uncompressable MP3 file that's generated for the test. It's far more than "a packet".
