Hey guys.

I am looking for a $600 (AUD) Build that will play and record/stream games on medium/high @ 1280x720 @ 45fps+

I do not need to purchase an OS

I do need to purchase a monitor, however I do have a 32" HD TV, how would that work as a monitor?

Preferred parts - Intel if it fits in the budget, if not AMD will work fine

Additional Comments: I will be streaming/recording 'popular' games like Far-cry 3, Skyrim, Hitman Absolution etc. Nothing like BF3 or Crysis 2 so, base the build around optimization for stables FPS while recording, please :D

Thanks guys.

Appreciate it :D

If the TV is 1080P it will be OK. If it is 720P though, it won't look great.

If you are going to be overclocking, you will probably get the most for your money with AMD. Maybe get an FX-4 and overclock the crap out of it. If you can get that and pair it with the HD 7850 2GB, it would be great. It just happens that the HD 7850 is also a good overclocker.

Could you recommend a build using this website? www.pccasegear.com

Thanks! :D

Go Intel if not overclocking, they will be much better than AMD at stock settings. Especially in games.

i3-3220
2x4GB Corsair Vengeance LP 1600Mhz 1.5v
ASRock B75M-VGS
Gigabyte HD 7850 2GB
Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200RPM
Antec V450P 450W
Coolermaster Elite 341

Total $594 AUD

Not the flashiest case or the most advanced motherboard in the world but excellent price/performance ratio. This would be fine even at 1080P. With lowered AA/AF etc., that card is actually quite good at 1440P

I was just wondering how well the 3220 will perform whilst recording and playing a game such as Far Cry 3? Will it keep a stable FPS (35+) while recording it on mid/high settings?
