I currently have Intel Pentium D 2.80 Ghz,
intel d101ggc mobo,
1gb ddr ram,
nvidia 8400gs,
and 250w psu


I have 10,000 rs to upgrade and i searched internet and found amd processors to be very great!!

yeah that amd3+ gigabyte board would be better choice then fm1 one. It would give you more upgrade choices in the future , FM1 not going further then what they already have now

NO dear. you need good psu.save atleast rs1500 for fsp sga 350w psu.

if you want good and cheap indian psu then go for vip 400w plus psu- rs 600

the max TDP of that AMD FX4100 is only 95W.
i Dont have any cd drive nor i am gonna put a graphic card on this APU bcoz it already has a integrated gpu!!

it can run but not for long time as yours psu is 5year old.better to invest on new psu


one time investment=long time investment

it has integrated gpu but it is not so strong that you will able to play on high.
you can play at low with that

yow need graphic card to enjoy games

ok dude i'll take psu separately and i dont want a dvd writer or anything just tell me is that amd fx 4100 apu without graphic card is good or intel pentium G630 without graphic card or amd a6 3500 without graphic card good in 10k without psu!!!
i'll manage a psu from my brother.....

AMD a6 3500 has Radeon HD 6530D.

yes you can play at low res at 800*600 or 1068.768.

in future buy graphic card for better gaming

go with first one i.e amd 3870.it is good powerful with hd 6550 gpu.it is quad core so all games can easily run with that config.
