I recently bought Hyundai Q17 Analog+Audio (no USB) then I found out (from the user guide at 'specifications' section) that the analog-only Q17 only has 262K Colors! whereas the dual analog+DVI has 16.7M colors.

Does any1 know how 2 actually test how many colors the monitor can support?

Also Tom's review for the Q17A was written as Q17 before however there is no Q17A model on hyundai's website http://www.imagequest.co.kr/pro_q17.asp
clarification pls ?

oh.. 1 more thing, the color on Q17 (analog-only) is somehow quite washed-out. I tried using the setting as suggested (RGB: 60,65,60) but still it fails 2 produce a good red/yellow/orange-ish color. Then, I tried using the analog color profiles from Tom's but the color just doesn't change (I'm using WinXP and Radeon 9500 with Omegadriver), any ideas/help would be much appreciated :)

FYI, I bought the Q17 in Australia from www.apus.com.au, or u can also buy it from www.eyo.com.au (it's out of stock at the time I write this). I got it for about AUD$690
