i have the klipsch (sp?) pro media 4.1 speakers.... the speaker wire is about as thick as thread. would i gain anything in replacing it with thicker wire? is it possible?

Jesus saves..... and Lemieux scores on the rebound!!!!!

Have you done much soldering? If not, don't even think about it.

The only advantage to thicker wire is increased current. But unless you're also going to use a larger amp (and risk blowing the speakers), you won't gain anything.

It will gain you absolutely nothing for those speakers. It would if you had a powerful amp as Bugerman pointed out.
