Hello,

I havent been in to gaming for quite a while, but am interested in getting back in to some newer games such as Planetside 2, Chivalry, Skyrim, Dishonoured etc.

Any help on recommended components would be much appreciated

Sorry, i should have thought a bit more before posting.

So the budget is $1800 aud (Australian)
Dont require monitors, speakers, keyboard mouse etc, just the box.
Not familiar with overclocking, so no.
No plans on SLI or Crossfire unless old card becomes too old and I can get another one for cheaps, perhaps its better to get an SLI mobo?

I usually buy my stuff from a cheap wholesaler in Sydney, msy.com.au.

Thanks mate

List above has you on the right track, and the beauty is... you'll be able to grab all of that stuff from MSY so no shipping :)

If you are thinking of possibly adding another GPU down the track... You might want a PSU with a little more juice:

Corsair TX-850 V2 - might want to double check... a 750W may be enough for CF 7970

In that situation, a better mobo would also help...never been that big a fan of micro ATX unless you need small for a reason.

ASRock Z77 Extreme4
