Is this PC good for gaming needs?

Hey, i got the following PC:
AMD BULLDOZER FX 4100 3.60Ghz 12MB Cache
8GB DDR3 1600MHz Ram
MSI GTX 550ti Cyclone II ( 950mhz clock, 4500 Memory Clock - 1 GB DDR5 )
550w Coolermaster PSU 80plus certified
500GB HDD

Is this good gaming pc? i can run crysis 2 on max ??

I would suggest a better GPU

Since you are familiar with TOMs, their charts will answer your crysis 2 question

Is this a prefab or are you looking to build? A 550 ti won't max out Crysis 2, unfortunately.

It's good for some very low resolution.

Want a suggest to change that? Please tell us 1st whats your resolution and budget. How much you want to spend, crysis 2 is a very demanding game even with Directx 9.

If you want to run it with Direcxt 11 with everything maxed, you will need much more GPU and CPU Power.

For a quick suggest, if you are not overclocking, change the FX4100 for an I3 2120, and the GTX550 ti for HD7770, you will spend the same getting much more performance.

Like the others have said, a 550ti will not be able to max out crysis 2 with enough fps to be playable. Even at lower resolutions you will have to turn down settings if you want 60 fps. I would suggest finding a different gpu if you really want to max the game out.

My resolution is 1024x768 . I saw on game-debate for my PC. it showed MASS EFFECT 3, MASS EFFECT 2, SAINT ROWS 3, BATMAN ARKHAM CITY, PROTOTYPE, PROTOTYPE 2, ETC. to be maxed out..

I logged in, add my specs in the gaming profile option. Then i opened up crysis 2 page, and this is what is showed ( golden tick means HIGH )

It can certainly handle them at that low a resolution, but not quite max them out depending on which one we're talking about.
