Fan controller

hi all, simple question, is there a decent free online or downloadable fan controller? i need to turn my fans down while not gaming but all my fans are plugged into the psu. i know i can easily buy a fan controller but i wondered if there was another way. and if not, please recommend a decent rather cheap controller. thanks for the help!

Your fans are plugged directly into the PSU, they will run at 100% no matter what you tell any program to do. Gonna have to get them running off the motherboard if a software solution is going to work.

A good cheap fan controller is the NZXT Sentry Mesh, I have the model up from it (Sentry Mix) and love the thing.

and that's what i figured, the fan controller i was looking at is the one you just linked me so i guess that's probably the best choice!
