Ok so i got another hd6970 for crossfire. But i have gigabyte 990fxa-ud5 motherboard and it has 2x pcıx16 - 1 pcıe8x and 2- 4xslots on it. But 16x slots are too close, so when i put the secondry 6970 on other 16x slot the cards are so close and it makes overheat problems like upper card gets to 88C. When i want to insert second card to pcıe8x slot my crossfire connector is short for that.So for the last chance i put the card 4x slot. Its ok but i dont think its a right thing to do. I test it in bf3 with ultra settings its 60 fps but drops max 45 sometimes. I did extreme bechmark test on 3dmark it was 1970 with only 1 6970. With 2x6970 its 3790 now.

So i have 2 questions atm. Sometimes when i close the game or alt - tabbed , screen flashes to orange or blue for 1 sec before game closed. Its like making blue or sephia effect on view. And same happens when i watching video and want to skip scene that video bar flashes to orange sometimes.
Second inserting secondary card to pcıex4 slot can cause problems?. Can it be the reason of that color problem?
Third i have heat problems still my upper card gets 83C max while bottom is 76 in game.

Here is my latest benchmark results with 2x hd6970

you will get less performance from the x8 slot because it offers half the speeds. try enabling manual fan control and increase the fan speed, this should help with the temperatures.

First, you would only see VERY minor performance loss, if any, by using the x8 slot. Using the x4 slot is not a good option though. Asus has some longer bridges, measure the gap and see if the 3.9 will reach, or check with gigabyte.

Its normal for the top card to be hotter, and 83 is workable. You can lower the cards clocks and/or voltages to help with temps, or get better case cooling.

yeah increasing fan speed with manuel helps with tempeture. Im going to buy a longer CF cable to insert secondary card to 8x slot probably it will help to tempeture also because then it makes longer distance between cards also.
