I want buy 2 PIII katmai 600 or 600E Mhz for MSI6120 board.
How see the difference betweem Katmai and Coppermine processor on the plastic chip?
With Pricewatch it's possible find them, but i leave
in France and retailer won't sell out of US.
Maybe someone can buy and send me processors?
Thanks.

Well first of all, that mobo at MSI says it only supports 500MHz, but I'd bet that with a BIOS update it could support higher speeds. I am just going to mention a few facts, that may make it easier for you to use this mobo in a dual PIII System.

1. Slot 1 Coppermines are probably easier to find than, Slot 1 Katmai's.
2. I don't know, but you might be able to use the Slocket cards, to put a Socket 370 CPU in a Slot 1 Mobo. Don't know if you can use it in Dualy configurations.
3. I'd suggest, you may not be able to afford it, but going with a VIA Appolo Pro 133A mobo and not the old 440BX. Even better, if you have money to spare get the Appollo Pro 266 with DDR, it does improve performance on dual PIII Systems.

I hope this helps!
