I should start with I am new to the whole PC gaming world.
Recently bought a gaming rig which consists of...
i7 3770k @3.50GHz
Asus P8Z77-V
GTX 670 FTW 2GB
Kingston 8GB DDR3

Now my question is should I upgrade to 2 670's and another 8GB to 16GB?
The screen I currently use to game on is Sony's 3D display. Which has a max resolution of 1920x1080 at 240hz.

You already have those parts? If I were you I would stick with what you have for a while, and then eventually upgrade to get another one once it is hard to run games on high/ ultra (whichever you care about). There is also the factor that a lot of games the ultra setting is designed for higher than 1080p resolution. In metro 2033 I literally can tell no difference between ultra and high settings on my 1080p screen. for reference 60fps is the max fps you need, anything higher than that doesn't matter.
