Why does the WLAN light of the wireless adapter not blinking ?

Hello there everybody. My wireless router was working fine the other day. Until yesterday when my laptop, a L645 can't pick up any signal. Upon checking, the WLAN light of the router isn't lighted as it usually does. Went to my cousin's place and my laptop can detect his Wi-Fi. So is the problem of my laptop or my router ?

Well the wireless in the laptop is disabled at home but it could detect a wireless network at other places.
