New gpu help

hi i want to buy a new gpu and i was looking at this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202004 i was wondering if it could run modern games at 1600x1200 maxed out my budget is 180$ i have:
a high quality corsair 500 whatt psu
ASRock Z77 Extreme3 mobo
2x8gigs of ddr3 @1866 ram
intel core i3-3220 @3.4
any advice would help and i will want to overclock it to around 1150 Ghz so it has to have a good cooler

I would pay the extra $20 or so for a 2gig (I know theres a 2 gig version of that card). Even if you don't play any games that will use that much memory now, that card is powerful enough that it will still be able to keep up when more games come out that will use that memory.

If you're getting the 2GB model, get this Sapphire HD7850 2GB
When it comes to AMD GPus, I only have 1 rule. Get Sapphire


But honestly unlike the other 2, I don't see the point of getting the 2GB model.
The GPU is on par with my 6950, about 10% faster at most ? but remember those old reviews that showed no difference in performance between the 1GB and 2GB versions of the 6950 ?
Therefore, I think the 1GB model will suffice as the GPU would be a bottlneck before the memory becomes a limiting factor IMO.
