Ok, I currently have the new case, mobo, cpu + cooler, psu, and ram all together and running. I'm still running older parts for the HDD. Anyway, I've searched the internet and haven't found a solution to this problem I'm having. I don't know about other cases, but the way this one is there are USB2.0 and 3.0 on the top of the case. The 3.0 plug into a USB on the mobo and the 2.0 seems to plug into a SATA port on my mobo. I've tested different sata ports on the mobo but they haven't given any better results. Everything is plugged in, so I'm not sure what to do. I've emailed the company but who knows when they'll get back to me. Suggestions?

Azza's package arrived. So, as a testament to my stupidity, I open up the top of the case to take out the old USB controller and 'ol and behold! The connector to the USB controller for the USB 2.0 slots was not connected at all. Apparently, it arrived to me that way. I reconnected it and all is well now. Go me...may this be a cautionary tale to other amateur PC builders out there.
