Recently my display driver crashed and I don't believe it recovered as my resolution is stuck in 800x600, and I am unable to change it. I currently have one NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 and I am unable to access the control panel for it, when I attempt to, it displays the message "NVIDIA Display settings are not availabe, You are not currently using a display attached to a NVIDIA GPU". Also, in my device manager there is a yellow exclamation mark next to my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 and is displaying the error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I have attempted uninstalling my display and graphics drivers rebooting and reinstalling them from the NVIDIA website. I have switched the slot in which my Graphics card sits in on my motherboard, I have also tried using driver installation programs in hopes they would somehow find a more correct version of the driver. So far I am unable to fix my issue and any help would be greatly appreciated! The crash occurred while playing World of Warcraft, there had been several times before that the display driver had crashed making my screen black for a few seconds and then recovering soon afterwards. Under my performance information and tools, there is another yellow exclamation mark that states "New hardware detected, Your Windows Experience Index needs to be refreshed", however once I attempt to do that it just errors stating there is a problem with a device, (which is my display driver most likely).
