Hei guys !
As you can see from the title of the thread , my question is which video card is better for gaming "hard" games like BF3,Far Cry2,MW3,GTA 4 ,on ultra details with high fps rate on a full HD monitor.

The thing that "bothers" me about the GTX 660 oc is the 192 bit bus memory. Some say that for the moment it might perform well, but in the near future, the 192 band width won't be enough, and the gpu will "get tired". I want a future proof gpu, that could perform well 1-2 years from now. Any suggestions above the price tag of these to is out of the question. Because I live in Romania, prices here are pretty high compared with those in the US .(newegg)

I have a i5 3470 on a Asrock Z77 Pro3 mobo and 8 Ghz of ram at 1600 mHz.

Sorry for my bad English.
Thanks !

the HD 7870 would be better due to its 256Bit bus and it can be oc'd to a HD 7950 performance with no problems

Which model of hd7870 are you referring to ? The Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 2048MB DDR5 [WindForce UDVGA GHz Edition] has 256 bit BUS memory. and it's around 293 dolars. and the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 2048MB DDR5 OC [WindForce 2X UD2 Edition] is around the same price tag.(In my country)

sorry i meant 256 Bit and the windforce is a great card it overlclocks pretty good and compared to a GTX 660 which doesn't overclock as well
