A friend of mine is trying to play a recent game (Worms Revolution) that should work with his specs, but there's a bit of a problem. The game itself is known to have a graphics problem that is normally fixed by updating to the most recent drivers.
However...that's not exactly possible with this computer.
We searched for it on the Intel site, and he got this: "Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer."
He's tried installing those generic ones, but he can't, because he gets this error: "THE DRIVER BEING INSTALLED IS NOT VALIDATED FOR THIS COMPUTER. PLEASE OBTAIN THE APPROPRIATE DRIVER FROM THE COMPUTER MANUFACTURER. SETUP WILL EXIT"
We finally found the right page, apparently, but these specific drivers are from last year, and outdated compared to the ones for the same graphics chipset on the Intel site.
Is there anything we can do, or are we screwed by poor support?
