Hello,
i HAVE AN HP 2100 AND AM TRYING TO REDIRECT LPT2 TO THE PRINTER TO PRINT FROM DOS PROGRAMS
I HAVE THE OPRINTER IO AND CAN PRINT FROM WINDOWS
TEH NAME OF THE PRINTER IS HP1123 THE SHARE NAME IS HP1123SH
NET USE LPT2 \\HP1123\HP1123SH
I GET AN ERROE 66

net use lpt1 \\computername\printsharename Also make sure the physical parallel port is DISABLED in BIOS if the user trying to map it does not have admin rights on the machine.
