I'm trying to build a new computer just for gaming only. I want 2 geforce 680's. I was told that 800w was good enough to run sli but I'm not sure if that's enough power since one geforce 680 uses about 550 watts. Shouldn't it be at least 1000w for sli?...I don't want any bottlenecks if you know what I mean.
I'm going to get an i5 Ivy Bridge as well, or i5 sandy bridge, which ever one is better especially for overclocking. Or if an i7 is worth it, let me know. All I know is both have similar prices. Let me know which one is better for gaming, especially for sli in this case.
