Upgraded to Windows 7 and now can barely play games?

I use to have Windows Vista, and I could play most games great.
And recently I upgraded to Windows 7, and now my windows graphics score is a 3.7, and cant even barely play any games.

AMD A8-3870K APU With Radeom 6550D
4GB Ram
GIGABYTE GA-A75M-D2H FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Windows 7 64x

so did you actually try to play your games or did WEI score just going down compared to the score you have in vista?

Are you using the latest graphics drivers? Current version is 12.8 so if that is not what you are using try updating them. Also the embedded 6500 graphics core is not really that great for playing games anyway. Try setting your games to low and see how it goes.

yes all drivers are updated, and before i could play metro 2033 smooth high settings, now i get very poor frames
