grabbing data from old hd

hello-

i have an old hard drive in another comp. that i want to get data from.

the only thing i know about the old hd (coming in the mail) is that it is 4gig with win 95 installed.

my system has all ide connections full with my 10g hd, dvd rom, cd writer, floppy, and zip drive.

can i just remove the zip drive from my current computer and plug the old hd in and then drag the data from the old hd to my computers hd? This all sounds logical to me, but am i missing something?

I don't see any problem with what you plan to do. Just make sure you have the right jumper setting on the drive.
