Hi All,
There is a strange area on the photos I've done for checking the dust on the
CCD. I uploaded the photos to http://www.users.on.net/~nfieraru/Nikon/ I would like to find out your oppinions about the bright pixel which shows
in the second photo. I took the photos on F22, out of focus and different
brightness of the objects. The first image is darker and there is a pixel
which hardly shows (a darker image) at position 2636x1266 (or very close).
The pixel shows when viewing the image at full size (original pixels)
On the second photo, the same pixels shows up, but very bright, like a
bright star and red in colour (when image shown in original pixels size).
Compared with the usual dust on the CCD this looks very unusual to me and I
am not sure if it is dust or there is another fault with the camera.
For your convenience, I uploaded just the cropped area of the photos,
because the original photos are over 2MB in size, while the cropped bitmaps
are under 30KB.
