Does anyone know where I can buy old refurbished PC parts?

Hi everyone,


I was looking at videos and I heard someone, talking about a website called geeks.com.

So, I went on it and I noticed that they have a bunch of old PC stuff. I then decided that I wanted to spend only about $50, and just build a crappy old computer. (I saw a P4 for about $7, 775 MoBo for about $15, etc...) The only problem is that for a tiny little CPU, the shipping is about $40 to here in Ontario, Canada...

Basically, what I want to know is if there are any canadian websites like geeks.com that sell old PC parts so that I can build my own $50 PC. I cannot seem to find any that have refurbished PC parts in Canada, which is a bummer.

If anyone knows of any websites, please tell me.

There's always eBay. Even if you were able to build something for $50 I can guarantee you will not be able to find a hard drive for $5.

Check around your area, you can probably find some individual, school or business that will give you an old pc to play with. Check craigslist.
