Hello,
I am building my 1st gaming computer and could use some help with what people would think of the specs i might go with and if there is anything people would change.
Tower: thermaltake Mk-
CPU: intel i7 quad core 2600k or 3700k
HSF: Corsair H100
GPU: XFX Raden HD 7850
Mother Board: Sabertooth z77 LGA 1155 Sata 6GB/s
RAM: Corsair vengeance 16gb (2x8gb) or 32gb (4x8gb)
PSU: Corsair pro series Hx 750w
Optical drive: LG blueray burner
HDD: Seagate 1Tb 7200 rpm
and also wondering if getting a OCZ vertex 3 240gb SSD or wont it be worth it

Drop the water cooler, drop the i7 get i5 3570k. Can't suggest anything else until you tell us your budget.

-h100 is not worth it
-sabertooth is a scam. heatshield traps heat
-drop down to a i7 if you are not doing work
-drop down to 8gb if you are not doing work
-cheaper 750w units
-needs more GPU power than that
-do you even use blu-ray?
-vertex 3s are going to fail like on the spot

i5s = for games
i7s= for work mostly.

@bigcyco1; extreme4 is fine. if i want to spend more, it would be either a mpower from msi, ud5h from gigabyte or the v-pro from asus

So the only thing is I should choose a new Motherboard and drop down to a i5 instead of a i7 and I am looking at the v-pro now and looking at SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100352VXSR Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card would that be a good GPU

there is only one i5 and its the 3570k. like it states in my build

now i put in the ud5h motherboard. 20 bucks cheaper than the v-pro therefore a good buy
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rgfx

the 670 i chose is priced very well. performs a tad better than the 7950.

Replace the green green drive with black 2tb.
Also drop the memory from 16gb to 8gb to save some money, and change the psu
