So i am getting a entirely brand new computer. I will mainly be using this computer for gaming and playing on ultra (Bf3, Crysis 3, Minecraft :p ) and other games, ill also be using it for work purposes and Medium Overclocking. I really dont want to go over more that $1500 as its a pain to save money lol. I do have a few ideas on what to get, but if you guys probably have better ideas than me. I have also already ordered the Gtx 680 lightning so i cant change that sorry! Ill be playing only on one screen in 1080P(23") (Going for Bluish Black theme :D ) Open to all criticisms, please suggest as many things as possible. Thanks!

Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D (CAN IT HOLD GTX 680 WITHOUT MODDING? CAN IT DO SLI?)
Motherboard: Either Sabertooth z77 or X79 (Should i have LGA2011?)
CPU: i7 3770k or i7 3930k
Heatsink: Corsair H100i (Looks good in Corsair Cases :D ) Suggestions for air cooling units?
GPU: MSI GTX 680 Lightning 2GB (Can't change)
RAM: Corsair Platinum Dominator 32GB (4X8GB)
SSD: Intel 520 240GB
HDD: Western Digital 1TB Black Caviar
OS: Windows 7 Pro x64bit

X79 will not be worth it for gaming. Too much investment for not a lot of payoff. If you want all that, you are not going to get below $1500.

The Sabertooth and the i7 are not worth purchasing (for your uses), and neither is a closed liquid block. Also do not pay money for the Dominator Platinuim - *NOT AT ALL* worth the premiums. RAM is one of the least important parts of the build - especially for a gaming rig, and you will never come close to using 32GB for any purpose. And that's the last area you should be spending money on. There's also far better SSDs that you could get instead of Intel.

Try this:

Ok i see, i was tempted to get x79 cause really of the quad channel architecture, but as far as from what i see, it doesn't matter?
I don't really like G.skill as my last pair went down in flames and took my motherboard with it -_- thats why im getting a new one lol though it was a cheap pair of ram..

Huh, I've never had a problem with G.Skill. Maybe get something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I have a Carbide 500R and it has more than enough room for any GPU. The 550D will hold anything you can think of.
