GTX 670 Quote:
Overall the ASUS GTX 670 Direct CU II is the best card I ever tested. I simply can't find anything wrong with it. ASUS has sucessfully addressed all the shortcomings of NVIDIA's reference design, yet asks only a moderate $20 price premium for their card. This means that you can get faster than GTX 680 performance at $420. And the card manages all that with a dual slot cooler, that just screams "put me in SLI". Wrong. GTX 670 > 7970 at stock. The 7970GHz Edition = GTX 680.

Best thing would be to get a 7970 and overclock it. Massive price/performance.

All those graphs are old as ***. The 7850 is by far the best price/perf right now, and the 7970 is cheaper than the 670. The 7950 destroys the 660 ti, and there is no such thing as a 7990. Seriously what are you guys smoking?

You're saying AMD has better drive support than nVidia? Ask anyone. The graphics driver support is far better with nVidia. And 99% of people don't overclock. Why? Extra heat, voids warranty, more noise, time consuming, higher power consumption.

1. I didn't edit anything.
2. There is no such thing a Radeon HD 7990.

Actually, AMD has had better driver support recently than nvidia. A lot more than 1% of people overclock. Stop making up bullshit statistics. Nobody cares about power consumption, if your card is overheating you are doing it wrong, there is no way the manufacturer can tell if you overclocked, and it doesn't take long at all.

nVidia updates their drivers far more often than AMD. Fact. And it is 99%. Most people buy a computer.

That's not a real 7990. That's a piece of *** made by powercolor to cut in on some easy profits. All that card is is two 7970s stuck together.

95% of pre-built computers don't have a dedicated graphics processor.

Stop making up overclocking bs no card is the same you cannot guarantee higher overclocking it's possible NOT Guaranteed so that's non sense is dead

Is a GTX 690 isn't two 680's stuck together? And I'm pretty sure that Radeon HD 7990 is copyrighted by AMD so AMD acknowledges that it is worthy of being a 7990. Stop posting. Your tendency to swear in every post shows your lack of maturity and clearly don't deserve to be trying to help the OP.

Oh dear lord. A GTX 690 is two GTX 680s on a SINGLE PCB. That 7990 is two entirely different GPUs put in one casing. Bro why are you even on these forums?

"Free performance boost" with no real risks right?

BTW, I quote from Hardware Canucks "Despite its odd “Devil 13” moniker, this card is exactly what many initially wanted the HD 7990 to be: a single PCB solution that combines a pair of fully endowed Tahiti XT cores".
