Hi all, I'm currently trying to get the sony 3d display to work as a 3D external monitor connected to my Lenovo Y580 with an Nvidia GTX 660m graphics card. However, I don't know where to go or how to get it to work.

I've tried to play Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY in 3D, but when I go to settings, it says that Stereoscopic 3D is disabled in NVidia control panel. I'm rather new to 3D displays, so I'm not sure if I've got to turn something on in the Nvidia control panel first or not, but I haven't seen any stereoscopic settings for the graphics card.

I read a post that another post http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/356449-33-will-monitor-work-gaming which says that another user got the 3D working using GTX 550 TI, I'm just not sure how to do it.

i have kind of the same issue: trying to get the 660ti to work to PS 3D display. The PS 3D display is not officially supported by Nvidia. There used to be a workaround, but from what i hear and have tried it only works with 2xx drivers, not 3xx drivers.

here is the site for the workaround (didn't work for me, but you may have better luck): http://blog.bagearon.com/2010/11/fix-nvidia-3dtv-play-samsung-3d-plasma-or-other-unsupported-model/
