NO POST BEEP AND MONITER NOT WORKING

hello my new built PC is not worknig when i boot it up. when i start up my PC the power supply fans start to work but then stop when there is no post beep. specs below

a side note is that EVERYTHING else on my computer is working afaik. fans are spinning on video card processor and in case. this is my first time building a computer so i really dont know what i did wrong

nick some simple things to look for. did you use the bass stansoffs under the mb to keep it from shorting out?? you cant have the bottom of a mb tuching metal or it short out.also check the rear i/o shield..sometime a finger gets int oone of the ethernet ports or usb ports or is too long and shorts out the bottom of the mb. check that the 4/8 pin power plug is connected and look to se that all the power plugs on the video card are connected. on the mb make sure the reset and power switches are in the right spots.it easy to connect an led to the reset switch and cause the mb to be stuck in reset mode.
