Computer specs:
-Motherboard: Asus P5ND

-Memory: 4gb DDR2 Corsair (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000Q061WU/ref=oh_de...)

-Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 (512 MB)

-Not sure what PSU i have, got pictures if that helps (tell me if you want me to upload em)

-Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz

So I need a new graphics card for my 5 year old alienware. Looking to buy it before the year is out, but i don't mind waiting if there's going to be a new set of them released.

I need it for watching movies and playing games, but i don't care so much for really high fps (as long as it isn't painfully low). I would like an HDMI port and HDCP compatibility so i can watch hd stuff.

I would quite like a 3d one, but I would rather have a great 2D card than a mediocre 3D one.

I'm in England, and as long as its available I don't mind where I buy it from.

Don't think I'll overclock it.

Buying a new monitor soon too.

Would like one that would be slightly future-proof, so I can be able to use it for a few years without having to worry about it.

Thanks in advance for any help and just ask if you need any more information
