Intel Core i5 3570K (Stock clock)
Gigabyte Z77x-D3H Mobo
16GB Corsair Vengence Ram
GTX 660 ti 3GB GPU
2X 7,200 RPM HDD
20-30 (at most) Watts worth of fans, Thermaltake Water 2.0 Performance CPU Cooler
Cooler Master HAF XM Mid Tower Case
750W PSU (660W 55A on the 12V from the looks of it.)
Notes 1: I am not running SLI, I'm wanting to run the 550 as a physx gpu, which I've read people using a 460 gtx with a 9800gts as a physx card. So was wondering if my psu could handle it.
Notes 2: Also the 750W psu, is 750 watts I didn't include the other voltages. When totaling the 3.3V and the 5V it all totals out to 750W. Just thought I'd clear up any other confusion.
Notes 3: I wish to state that I already have this 550 ti. It was in a previous build. I just don't know if the psu will handle it or how much of a difference it would be.
Do I have enough power to run a EVGA GTX 550 ti OC edition as a Physx card? From what I hear, I think I do. But I plan on OC'ing my cpu and gpu sometime. (Don't know when so my current psu might work now, but not later.)
