I think that this is only available on-line through costco.com, not at the
stores.

Nope, they have them at the stores too. That's where I bought my E-300 a
couple weeks ago.

I'm in Edmonton, I checked one of the local stores, and Costco.ca, and they
are not carrying the 20D. But...here is my slant on it.

After rebate that $1300.00 (US) camera converts to $1637.00 (Can). McBain
Camera has many Canon products on sale during May, and this camera/lens
combo is selling for $1949.00 (Can). This makes the US Costco price look
pretty good. But (and for me this is the biggie)...I don't want this lens. I
want the 17-85 IS version, which is currently on sale for $799.00...bringing
my grand total, assuming I could get this camera in Canada for a price
equivalent to the US Costco price, to (1637 + 799) $2436.00 Canadian
dollars. So, for $2436.00, I have the 20D with the 17-85 IS USM lens, and
have the unwanted "bonus" of having an 18-55 lens taking up shelf space.

On the other hand..at McBain..I can get the 20D with the 17-85 lens for
$2479.00 (Canadian).

Bottom line....even if I could get the 20D at a Canadian Costco for an
equivalent price, by the time I had the camera I *want*, I'd see a saving of
only $43.00 Canadian.

Just a bit of food for thought, Mr. Harry. If your goal is to have a 20D but
you're not fussy about the 18-55 lens...then this Costco (USA) price is not
all that great, compared to what is currently available in the frozen north
(and in Edmonton right now it IS frozen).
