hi all,

I have no idea which is better,
But they are roughly the same costs..

What I will use it for:
- current and future games (guildwars, bf3 etc)
- 1080p now (upgrade monitor better res. later)
- 1 Monitor only
- NO CF/SLI

my system:
- i7 3770k
-16gb
-SSD & WD black
-corsair 650W
-Asus p8 Z77 v lx

Specs wise the cards look neck to neck

7970 all the way, if you're going to upgrade your monitor and possibly game higher resolutions as you said then the 7970 will pull away from a 670. It's current pricing is pretty hard to beat.

That deal on the 670 is pretty good but I am not a fan of galaxy cards myself.

I literally haven't PC gamed for the past 4 years (was busy with school)... :(

so mind filling me in...

and I'm just converting my computer to "gamer friendly" for my brother since I am not home most of the time.

thanks!
