Are MSI cards reliable????

My friend is planning to get the msi ati 6850 cyclone or the msi ati hd 7770 OC...
he had asked for recommendation and i straightaway said asus. but after comparing the prices there is a diff of about $25-30...
plus the msi and gigabyte cards are clocked higher??? will it hurt to buy these cards... what is the difference.. how is the rma???

I have an MSI 7850 and its my first from that company. If I go AMD, I usually buy Sapphire. I have had no issues with my card and have not read anything to say that the cards are not reliable. Both MSI and Gigabyte are reliable companies. Have you looked at Sapphire cards? They are the largest AMD GPU manufacturer.

sapphire are in the same bracket as asus and they are clocked lower... i donn understand the price diff... why are they priced lower??
