  2. what resolution do u game at ??
  3. I'm actually doing my first build and trying to get away from console gaming. I ordered most of my hardware from newegg and most of it should be coming in today, but I haven't decided on a case or graphics card yet. I'm would like to have my resolution at 1920x1080. Below is the everything I have so far.

AMD Phenom x4 955 Black Edition (I'm going to overclock to 3.8GHz)
    Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ board
    Arctic Cooler Freezer 13
    Antec Earth Watts Series EA-750
Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 16GB (2x8GB)
ASUS Black Blu-ray Drive SATA Model BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS
    Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002

As far as the case goes, I'm leaning towards the Antec Three Hundred Two or the Cooler Master HAF 912. I don't know if I want to run a SSD or not. The fast boot time is definitely a plus in favor of an SSD. Funds running low is the main reason why I might not get a SSD.
  4. For the a little bit more I might as well get 2GB graphics card. I'm thinking about the MSI R7850 Twin Frozr OC AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or the Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB.

Well if u can stretch ur budget i bit more u can get a GTX 660, and i think that will be much more future proof than 7850. The GTX 660 is jut $15 more expensive and gives a performance of a 7870.
