Help picking MOBO for entry level software development PC
I was looking at buying an Nvidia card to practice CUDA programming and was thinking of something along the lines of a GT 640, GTX 650, or GTX 650 Ti with an Intel Celeron G530. I was looking at some AsRock mobos, but saw some reviews and the mobos specifications say that 3rd gen i5 and i7 were needed to use the PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot.
Will the CPU above fill the requirement above?
