Sometimes, during intensive gaming, my sound will start crackling.
Incoming and outgoing, meaning people on skype can hear me becoming inaudible and robotic.
I speed test and ping test when this happens, and my speeds are just fine and so is my ping.
This happened on my previous build as well, and the only thing I transferred to this new build was my hard drive and video card (gtx 560).
It happens on both of my headsets, (3.5mm and USB 3.0).
Could it be sound drivers or something else?
I've also noticed some performance drops as my system continues to be on.
If I restart it, everything fixes, but a few hours later and it comes back.
I feel as though I should re format my hard drive, but I don't want to lose over 500GB of desired files.
This includes countless games, movies, pictures, scripts, server backups (for my game servers I host), and many other things. The largest external storage I have is only 4GB.
My SSD currently only holds my games as well.
If anything, I guess I'll have to get my hands on external storage and wait hours for everything to transfer to it, so I can format my hard drive and install windows on the SSD.
