I sold my old PC. It was a 2500k, 8gigs 1333, 7870.

For a little under 800 after taxes at micro center I built the following:

3570K Ivy
ASROCK Z77 pro3
8gigs of corsair vengeance 1600
evga gtx 660 super clock
dvd-rw sata drive
WD 750GB 32MB black drive
50 dollar antec case with 3 120mm and a 140mm 2 of the 120s I added that do 79cfm each

Stuff I already have:
21" 1680x1050 wide screen lcd
key/mouse/speakers
I reused my kingwin mk650w for now
Windows 7 64-bit home prem

I'm still doing updates and even with a 2.67 megabyte per second download speed I'm still waiting for my steam games to redownload. I could have spent the extra money for the gtx 670 but for the resolution I'll be playing at I think the 660 will do just fine.

One question. The motherboard says it'll do crossfire so does that mean it'll do sli? I plan on upgrading the PSU down the road when I do a GPU upgrade or sli.

Did you not read the question? He asked if the Pro3 would do SLI... It doesn't

Thus I responded "No the board only does crossfire."

Yeah I tried that and even changing the scaling of the fps display. I will check later but I think it could be from installing it from the dvd that came with the motherboard and not downloading the updated version if one is available.

...............In the application for showing fps you can scale the fps number... I said that I tried scaling the fps display.

Another problem that I never had before is getting 3d mark 11 through steam to work. It doesn't even launch.

I just un-installed VMU or whatever it is called to installed the latest version and 3d mark 11 works now. I feel stupid for installing drivers and software off of the disk that came with the board lol.

Yeah, when I built it and installed the OS it was like 11 at night and I just wanted it done lol. I have to say for this gtx 660 with a free copy of Assassin's creed 3 for only 219.99 I am very happy with it.
