Just bought an Adaptec 3400s RAID card with 64mb ram. I cannot get the damn thing to work and Tech Support is closed on the weekends. Anyone who knows this card- please HELP!! Lights 2,3,4, 6,7,8 all blink (simutaneously) in one second intervals. The card is also some how preventing the system from booting. When the card is installed NOTHING comes up on the screen, not the bios, memory check- NOTHING. The fans in the case all run, but the system doesn't boot. As soon as I pull out the Adaptec Card, the system works fine. Have tried this card in another computer and get the exact same results. I have reset the bios on the Adaptec board, but this didn't help. Anyone!!!! Please help!
