I am building a new gaming / htpc rig. I have the follow parts someone gave me:
Intel BOXDZ77GA70K
I5 3750k CPU
16 gigs Kingston HyperX
Windows 7 ultimate

I have a couple of Sata III drives to start off with...

I will be connecting this rig to a 60" Pioneer Kuro plazma at 1080p.

I normally use my PS3 for gaming but I would like to switch to this PC.

I need advise on the following:
GPU - Budget $100 - $150
Case - I would like a HTPC case but I can't find one that will fit a ATX MB and a GPU. Budget up to $100 with Power supply - I have a ATX power supply but would prefer to get a new one if possible.

Here are some options:

Case:

COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 $59

SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100358VXL Radeon HD 7770 $134

Yes - fits regular sized GPUs

No, unless you like Medium settings... Of course coming from a PS3 you may not see the difference. My advice is a GTX 660 or HD 7850 2GB if you can't go over $200.
