AMD Radeon HD 6870

Hello everyone

i have an radeon HD 6870 and i am trying to use 3 screens(eyefinity) at the moment i have them connected up via:
one HDMI to DVI,
One DVI to DVI
mini Display Port DVI adapter To DVI

but when i try to set it up it askes me to remove one of my displays

How can i fix this

Depends on the exact model of you card, but in most cases you will need an active DP-to-DVI adapter.

The adapter looks good! I think the problem is the port sharing on your card. That's in most cases badly documented. If you have for example two DVI ports, one is shared with one of DP ports. Try to google your card to get hinds on how to use the ports. Some manufacturers have this info on the product page, but not in the manual.

Outputs are not shared between display port and DVI, they are shared between hdmi and DVI. You need an ACTIVE display port to DVI adapter and that is clearly a passive one
