This budget is a bit tight, I managed to make you a combo as economical as I could, but still worth upgrading to:

AMD A10 5800K: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
AsrockFM2A75M-DGS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Kingston Hyper-X 8GB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Seasonic S12II 430B: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Total: 280 dollars (approximately your budget if you can buy them at the same price)

Ashrock mobo combos with A10, this Ram is on sale and your APU will greatly benefit from a fast ram.

To get the most out the games you listed you will definitely need to upgrade the whole platform...If you want to go intel you could probably get a mobo, CPU, RAM and PSU within your budget but the graphics card is going to cost extra...

Where are you going to be buying the components from?

Had a look through Delta computers, the range is a bit limited and I think things are a little more expensive but came up with these for a fairly decent intel build, would have preffered a better mobo but they seem to be very expensive..

Not very good with conversions, how does that work out?

Graphics cards are over a 1/3 more expensive so when you add that on its going to be well over budget, works out at roughly $305 for a 560ti (they only had 1 kepler which was a 670) the 560ti would be the minimum I would recommend for 1080p gaming out of the selection...

I wonder would ordering from australia or Japan be any cheaper? I suppose import tax is the real killer...

No worries, sorry couldn't be more helpful, the prices are pretty expensive... I'm from UK its not quite as bad but still have to pay a bit of a premium on US products
